Its a godsend, when I hear that theme I know my son will chill out for the 20 or so minutea its on. I find the pontipines and haa-hoos really creepy for some reason. He always used to cry and run to us for a cuddle when the weird singing birds came on but he's stopped doing that now

I remember my toddler son waking us up early on Sunday mornings and instead of putting cartoons on, we watched Match of the Day.

Liverpool v Everton, Chelsea v Man Utd or Arsenal v Leicester was always Pontipines and Wattingers.

It was all Tellytubbies and Tweenies when my two were little.  

Cbeebies was worth the licence fee all on its own.
