WTB: Humbucker guitar with tremolo. Budget £500. Retro(ish) looks (the guitar, not me)

Interested in something like a PRS S2 Standard (pref with covered humbucjkers), or a Reverend Double Agent or something I haven't thought of. Budget of up to around £500, if that is at all possible.

Ideally a reasonably slim profile neck, nice resonant body, decent workhorse of a guitar.

Alternatively, a decent old Gibson Les Paul Studio (not one of teh tributes or faded though) or an SG Standard could be tempting,

A beater of a Gibson Les Paul special, mojo p90 sized hot filtertrons and a bigsby. It’s a lot of fun to play!

That looks awesome. I'm torn on my LP studio project between going classic paf or going crazy like you.

I think with some of the older studios and the like that there’s no harm in breaking from the mould and reimagining how they should be. Some guitars lend themselves to remaining close to the tradition but not all.
