I was looking recently to buy a Gary Moore Signature Les Paul & saw one on Reverb being advertised as belonging to Jack Moore, Gary's son. It was 2013, so from the second run, but the sellers were looking stupid money for it because of its provenance, it wasn't even in great condition. I ended up getting a better guitar from the original run.
I started looking for a Gary Moore BFG & again on Reverb found the same guys selling a Fender Stratacoustic which again belongs to Jack Moore & spent time in the family home.  Now, as far as I can see, a new Stratacoustic is about £300, what on earth would make this one worth £995!!!

The two clowns selling Jack's stuff have been running that shitty business model for ages. They often pop up on the Facebook groups asking 3 x the going rate for stuff because the nobody son of a quite good guitarist once touched it. 

To be fair, they usually get laughed out of the door.
