    The rules you agreed to when you joined explicitly say no deletion of classifieds content.

    Ohh I see, again wasn't aware of that. But what happens when an error has been made? More than happy for it to just be deleted. No harm intended to anyone.

    I've amended this thread as was old anyway. Hopefully that should now comply and it can suitably sink to the bottom

    Usually a mod reinstates the content. Repeat offenders lose classifieds access, I believe.

    The idea is that the classifieds are free in monetary terms, but do provide content to the site. Pictures, valuations, that sort of thing. So the cost of using the classifieds is leaving a record of the listing.
