Deluxe reverb would be an obvious choice - and used to record lots of the music in the styles you list.

I'd have thought for £2k you could get a real vintage one, or for much much less a reissue.
They've just released that handwired 64 Deluxe Reverb reissue, I think, that should fit the bill. Any of the Louis Electric BF Fender-style amps with 6L6s also look like a good bet.
I think for that kind of money I'd want more gismos included ;)

Too heavy for me. I've turned down a friends ToneKing Sky King because that was 60Ibs

Best clean amp I've ever played was a Friedman buxom betty.  Makes the two rock sound bland and the bad cat overly mid heavy.

But, no fx loop. If you plug pedals in the front though, takes them well.

50w so plenty of headroom, blackface pre amp so the right voicing.

No master volume, so if you want a little break up it's loud (fryette power station works really well with it though, and also adds  loop).

I think you owe it to yourself to try one before you dismiss it.

Shame for that money I think I'd like the option to have a loop. Not that I've used one in the past

The best clean amp I've ever played is the Mesa Blue Angel. Rare but not impossibly so, and well under two grand - you should get one for around or less than half that. No master volume, but it has three power options so you can push it a bit at fairly sensible volume if you want. And it does have an FX loop - but a loop is pretty pointless on a clean amp, unless it's a parallel loop with something like a delay, to maintain the 'purity' of the amp sound (the Mesa loop is parallel). But it's probably at least 50lb, even for the 1x12 version. A Neo speaker would help...

I have to say the tone king royalist 45 mkII sounds about right. Ideal for home use too. Shame they don't make them anymore :(
