Buying a used Helix LT?

Im considering going all out and just buying an LT. Its for home use and have considered buying a Katana, already have a Zoom G3 and a THR10c but having heard what people are getting out of the Helix, Just wondered what people thought of buying one used? Are there any particular issues to be aware of? I know that they're currently £750 new and I've seen the odd one for about £550 so that seems to be the going rate. I'm just wondering how much of a gamble it is to get one without a warranty?

I went used at the start of the year. It's still fine so far
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.
