DigiTech Studio Quad V2 flickering screen issue

Hello. I am new to the forum and hoping to get some advice about my DigiTech Studio Quad V2. The unit works fine except that the screen brightness fluctuates (i.e. it flickers). I have found that tapping on the unit, applying pressure to and around the screen and also applying pressure to one of the chips on the back of the screen with the unit open will all temporarily cause the screen to maintain full brightness. This leads me to believe that there is a loose connection somewhere inside the screen. I have checked all the cables/connectors and they seem fine - moving them has no effect. Has anyone else had this issue or can anyone please offer any advice or potential fixes? Thank-you very much.
