very interesting - I like the simplicity of the prototype that Pete Thorn carrying on one of his sig Suhrs - string locking without the floyd fuss - like the original Floyd but low profile / integrated - think its a Wilkinson design ..

Funnily enough, I was watching that clip on YouTube yesterday.

It's interesting because I like looking at well-engineered bits of hardware, but it doesn't appeal to me.  There are a lot of fiddly bits and pieces attached to the block, adjusting intonation looks like a pain and when he demos it, it seems rather stiff.

Reminds me of Babicz in a way.  It probably works very well but there's too much metal, too many bits.

Erm, US Strat with wobbly term arm, well fit the spring ya numpty. The Sophia looks nicely made but I'll pass
