its a bit like asking what your favourite colour is.

We have come along way just in the last 10-15 years.   There are loads more quality options than before and its impossible to consider them all.   We have some great makers in the UK, so that's where my money goes most of the time.

   If you get chance, talk to the winder about your guitar, what you have used before, and what you are looking to get from the new pickup.  If that's not possible, do some reading and expect to go through a few sets

I believe in starting with a good acoustic tone first -   you can't save a bad guitar by adding expensive pickups
