  • Don't think so now. But if you buy a guitar from him you get one free.

    Did you ask him to sign the book for you or was it already signed?

    Had mine since first release. Had to come from JK Lutherie in the US back then. Postage cost almost as much as the book cos its so damn heavy. Great book, my only criticism would be the that photography isn't the best, just a little dark to my eyes. He's currently working on a book of really early Fender guitars from the pinebody era.

    Wonderful book. If you don’t get blackguard gas from reading it, you’re dead from the waist down

  • I've got it, got it direct from Nacho via email, found his email on the Telecaster Discussion Page, didn't ask him to sign it but he did anyway. It's a hefty tome fully of pics and stats, good to flick through every now and then but expensive.

    I bought one years ago from JK Lutherie. Cost about £150 with shipping IIRC but it's well-thumbed now so worth the expense!

  • I bought mine, from a dingy music shop in Cardiff, for approximately one hundred of your Earth Pounds. Plenty of trainspotter detailed information. e.g. Which week particular sizes of screw changed from slot head to Philips.

    IMHO, the good points of the book are;
    1. Seeing the range of production line deviation from the notional published specification.
    2. The willingness of owners to allow their priceless guitars to be disassembled for photography.

    I was already a Blackguard obsessive before I became aware of the book.
    You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.
