anyone know if there is a difference in the sound between these two if so can you describe it, I've read about something being different about the effects loops on each of them? cheers

The main differences are:
The B is voiced a little darker on the lead channel, the B has more gain on the rhythm channel
The A has 2 mono FX Loops, one mono and one Switchable whereas the B has a Stereo FX loop (1 send, 2 returns)
The B has a Satellite Send which allows the left channel of the Stereo FX Loop to be sent to a seperate Power Amp, or if not using the FX Loop, the preamp signal is sent. 
The B has a reverb footswitch jack.
The B has a slightly larger power transformer.

looks like the B is the way to go thanks a lot
