The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

You can’t stop the voice of the people!!! This thread is out of controooooollllll!

To get things back on track, I’m not a fan of John Mayer, but he’s an excellent guitarist and judging by this clip, a decent, funny chap.

What is the penalty for blasphemy on this godforsaken forum???

I suggest 8 hours strapped to a chair in a locked cell with the entirety of Nickelback’s back catalogue played loudly and constantly.

At least this video proves that PRS have managed to get rid of one of those guitars.

What I heard was that it's ok to buy lots of pedals, with which I agree.
