TC Crescendo

Anyone tried one?

I’m looking for notes to swell in and out as I play, and volume pedals are just too tricky and inaccurate for the job. Not to mention the tone suck and the way they mess with fuzz pedals.

I’ve got a Line 6 Echo Park, and the swell setting on there is pretty decent, but I’m not that into the delay sounds, plus it’s a big heavy bastard taking up valuable space on my board. So I’m looking for a similar effect without the other bells and whistles, and the Crescendo looks cheap and cheerful.

  • Very cheap at Gear4music, also quite a few others in that TC range are £26

Thanks, yeah I noticed that earlier. Although they seem to be shipped directly from Sweden, so the only delivery option is £13.99!

    Good spot, thanks!

For £30 delivered I can afford to just take a punt.

  • Just in case anyone else is thinking about getting one of these - I've decided to return mine. The swell in function is ok, but I didn't like the way the sound cuts out quite abruptly once the note you've played falls below a certain level, rather than fading out.

Not a terrible pedal (at least not for £30), but the swell setting on the Echo Park sounds a helluva lot smoother, so I'm going to stick with that I think.
