I played that very RH4 in the Edinburgh shop about a week ago.  It’s in great condition and a fantastic instrument.  You can usually haggle with GG, particularly if you are paying cash.

sorry but something went terribly wrong here, just clicked it once I do own RH2 for some time now ... great guitar but didn't used it as much lately ... and still not sure if want to sale yet. Active circuit works great and can be very useful. Some people change pickups but I do like them

Lovely, I bought my first Blade R4 (not humbucker) from Chandler Guitars in April 1989. Misty Violet, Sepia pickguard, Gold hardware. Brilliant guitar loved it, eventually traded it in to Marcus Music after buying a Patrick Eggle Berlin and thinking that 2 high end guitars was unjustified!

Got another direct from the UK distributor in 2001, R4 Standard (non matching headstock, chrome hardware) , again 3 single coils, and the honey colour same as your purchase. Upgraded pickups to Suhr FL and a Gotoh 510 trem.

I've looked at lots of other "Strats" over the years but I just love the Blade. I had an epiphany one night mid-gig, playing away suddenly thought " I love this guitar, why do I keep looking at other ones, this one is perfect!" followed by " I'd be scunderred if anything ever happens to it!" So I resolved to buy another if the opportunity presented itself and sure enough, 1 week later, a Misty Violet R4S popped up on eBay in Glasgow and I bought it!
