  • The Fender Robert Cray model springs to mind.
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.

Yep, what everyone's saying here and the MIM RC is around £900 new.

I note you don't want to go used but they do come up sub-£500 and they're great value.

I have an Inca Silver one and it's special. The neck is full, comfortable but not a baseball bat and the tones are fabulous. The pickups are custom shop designed but I don't believe they're the same ones as in the US Custom Shop and more expensive signature model but on many sites talking about this, many people prefer the MIM ones.

Check out The Tone Request Report Robert Cray Strat - they reckon it's one of the best Strats out there and they're talking about the MIM one.

  • Thanks all. I had already seen these and I’m quite keen. Just wondered if there was anything else. I think I’ll take a look at one. Thanks again.
