  • @HarrySeven if you don’t mind me asking what’s the white Flying V at the front?

Lovely. I'm heading up in a bit. I'd heard that the M6 is closed here and there (going North) - is that the case?

  • Ahhhh not the V! Don't sell it!
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

Just got back - nice to meet @HarrySeven and @guitars4you ;  - I phoned my wife on the way back and said I'd made a purchase. Silence on the end of the phone. An ominous one.

'Don't worry, it was a pack of guitar strings'.  All was well again.

    Call me Dave.

Hope you enjoyed it.  I cleared out the spare room when my son was born, and most of it was sold at a show in Manchester.  The whole car was full on the way there.

Me and Paulo from MusicRadar rented a table each and were so busy, we hardly spoke to each other once the show opened.  It was a guitar boot sale!

The only thing I left with was half a suitcase of what didn't sell.  Only done it once, but was worth it.

It needs some neck TLC. Not sure what.

Tell you what, if you can get it collected from me you can have it FOC.
