Speaker Swop Question

I have an MJW 1x12 cabinet with a Celestion Hot 100 speaker in it.
The head that it goes with is an MJW Mondiale that is rated at 15watts.

I am thinking about swopping the speaker for a Celestion Alnico Blue so does anyone know
if it will make a noticeable difference to the sound.

Guitar used is a Custom Shop Strat with C/S 54 pickups.

Have you listened to the sound files on Celestion's web-site? They'll give you and idea.

Yes I have listened to their sound files but as I play clean Shadows type music

they don't really mean much to me.

I’ve not tried a hot 100
but i’ve tried blues, golds, vintage 55hz and 75hz greenbacks, a v30, an old 60s 15w celestion with a light magnet and a few others in my 15w and 36w MJWs.
I’d pick the Blue or G12H 55 greenback as my favourite.
my 15w MJW uses the 55hz greenback at the mo, but the amp will be a bit brighter than yours because of a different front end. 
I had a basic roadstar years ago that sounded great with a blue in it. It will definitely sound different
