At every point since the infamous Amazon blowout, i'd say.

just wait a few weeks and another blowout of some form will come along.

As above, I suspect by this point only the terminally inattentive will ever pay launch prices for Gibsons when there's hefty discounts towards the end of every year. I don't think it's so much "Gibsons are cheaper now" so much as it is a growing realisation for both Gibson and their customers that their list prices are essentially meaningless.
