There are a few I actually quite like, which is a bit worrying.  Impressive collection though.

  • Well, if there's one thing I've learned today, it's that I really don't like koa guitars.
My wife asked me to stop singing Wonderwall.
    I said maybe.....

Yes, that's really nice and "relatively" quite normal.  The ones I'm drawn to are the absurd Ren Ferguson SJ-200, the L-5 Stained Glass, the Iguana green double neck and the pink hummingbird (of course). :#

    Ooh, not for me!

I think the flowers on this are to detract from the terribly-done 3 tone burst.....

^^ I quite like that one myself but would prefer it if they hadn't engraved all the hardware.

I quite like that L-5... I'm not sure I like it $40,000 worth though

    It looks like a toilet.
I would love to change my username, but I fully understand the T&C's (it was an old band nickname). So please feel free to call me Dave.

You can’t polish a turd, but you can encrust it in abalone and mother of toilet seat inlays....

  • Not really my sort of thing. The nearest I’d get to a bling guitar would be a Gretsch White Falcon, thinking about it I do own a Blue Flower Strat.....

Friend of mine has a Blue Flower Strat and I've coveted it for nearly 25 years now :)

for years in the 80s I lusted after a custom-special-order white 335 with a reverse white headstock - a Gibson White Falcon if you like...

Love the Supreme's myself, just out of appreciation for inlay work etc more than anything.

Can’t remember how long I’ve had mine but at a guess I’d say about 15 years. It was made in Japan, Andertons were having a sale of them at the time knocking out both the Blue Flower and the Paisley Strats  at £295 each. It’s a nice guitar to play but  I was a bit disappointed with the ceramic pickups, cheap pots and switch so I replaced the electrics and fitted a set of Custom Shop 57/62 pickups . It’s a bit marmite, people either love it or hate it but it does attract attention.
