If I won the lottery, I’d buy an original Burst and then pay someone over the odds to have it converted into a Custom. With a Floyd Rose. And then use it to blow up the internet.

There would be a whole photo diary, with daily updates. And then I’d fly by helicopter to your place, Scott, where we’d throw Nazi war memorabilia - coins and medals and whatnot at the guitar for a bit of scratch and dent, all while live streaming the whole experience.

Great example of what the vintage market is all about; beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Dave is an honest dealer, he doesn't do all the bollocks, so he's trusted, and that's why a 1955 Les Paul in that condition with that many changes and a broken headstock sold for that money as fast as it did.
