Its a strange creature .......quite superb but slightly unconventional ;it really has it's own thing going on but ,boy oh boy it's a great thing.
 It will give the most extreme thwacky ,thumpy compression for country chicken pickin (unbeatable for that ) or a very soft boosty sustain but it also does a very nice drive effect a bit like an echoplex .
 If you are one of those people like me who has some difficulty being able to tell what a compressor does or whether it's actually on then this will leave you in no doubt .......
If you are somebody who wants to blend in a clear signal and get great transparency this isn't for you .
 WATCH the ROBERT RENMAN DEMO on Youtube and it becomes very clear what it does and how it works.
I really like it but I'm determined it's Helix hx and nothing else.
