"I see these advertised for between £2600 to £3700 at the moment on the internet."

Well, I've bid £1.20 on it!

    £2600 to £3700 is 1961 SG/Les Paul money.

"Criminal to change anything," says the owner of a guitar with the stopbar tailpiece insert hole plugged and DiMarzio humbuckers. Duh!

None of this is to say that a modified SG100 cannot sound good.
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.

"One of the most collected eras among SG guitars loved by Angus Young, Paul Weller, Pete Townsend to name a few."

Hmmm, out by a couple of years! One of the least sought after SG designs ever, so unpopular Norlin had to replace it in just one year, and despite the resulting rarity, it's still one of the cheapest 'vintage' SG's out there. ....well, usually it is. :)

Au contraire, @Funkfingers. I’d buy one in a trice.

But not for the money *that* seller’s hoping to get. ;)

I don't like it one bit. Original? Slot head brass screws? It's an electric guitar not a sideboard!  :#
