The Fender FSR Competition Mustang is a limited edition 2015 electric guitar which features all the traditional features of the Fender Mustang such as a lightweight Basswood body, Maple neck, 21 fret Rosewood fingerboard and vintage style tuners. Additionally the FSR Competition Mustang also incorporates two single coil pickups to produce a crisp and dynamic tone, unique vintage floating tremolo for adding unique accents and an attractive candy apple red lacquer finish.

Classic Design & Hardware

Designed with a shorter scale length, comfortable body shape and lightweight Basswood body the Fender Competition Mustang revives the Classic Mustang and features a range of period accurate hardware such as the vintage style floating tremolo bridge for unique pitch bending and single coil mustang pickups to deliver a crisp and punchy tone perfect for rock and blues.

Limited Edition Japanese Run

All the 2015 FSR models are a limited edition Japanese run of Fender guitars that meet the same superior expectations and build quality of the American edition Fender Guitars.
