Minimum of £1800 for fundraiser type event. For ticket sale jobs £2500 minimum plus a percentage of ticket sales after the break even point for the venue. Work is harder to come by now than a few years ago as the band is based in Aberdeen and the oil price hit us hard.
P.A costs £500 off the top and we're a three piece so we're coming away with anywhere between £433 to a couple of grand each if ticket sales are good.
Starting out in the 90's we were getting £150 a night but as we started drawing a crowd we put our prices up proportionally. Don't forget, if you can get people in to a venue and they're paying for a ticket (maybe) and drink (definitely), money is being made and you deserve a fair share.
