    Yeah I like the Arteon , what sort of price you got? @dindude ;
    £360 a month for 15k miles, that’s with nothing upfront (I.e. no 3 months upfront thingy) and over 24 months, so I get to have a new car again in 2 years!

    If if you want another top lease deal there are some great ones on petrol Volvo S90’s - similar price to the above - a lot of car for the cash.

    That’s with VAT inc? That is a good deal. I don’t enjoy the thrill of the chase as much as you - who are the best companies to look at?

    Yes inc VAT. I think all the best deals on the Arteon are gone now. I use Nationwide Vehicle Contracts - good website to navigate round, and good company to deal with.

    If you do more than 10k miles pa, do you have to pay tax on the 45p per mile (for miles in excess of 10k)?
    Can’t remember, but check the Gov site. The rate changes I think.

    It’s tax free upto 25p on anything over 10k miles so the effective rate becomes about 35p at that point.

    Oooof. How did you drive ? I don’t mind 24 thrashing it a bit would like to see 35 on steady 80mph motorway journeys. @DanR ;

  • Check out carwow. A lot of dealers give additional discount, some manufacturers offer 0% interest on cars they are promoting (got this on a Fiat 124)

  • Yes  Carwow is great. The superbs are 25% off lot at the moment when using PCP I guess because there is a refresh coming in March. That brings a fully optioned out 280 L&K down to close to £30k.

  • Well I start the new job mid April after a suitable 8 weeks garden leave.

    Looked at leasing , new purchase and used and in the end I’ve plumped for a 1 yr old 1500mile Superb L&K 220 for £23.5k .

    Sorted.
