Treble Booster placement

I have a thorpy veteran and I'm having to share a loop with my OD pedal because I've run out of loops on my ES5. I won't be using them together I.e. Fuzz and OD however, I'm planning to use the treble boost part of the veteran to goose the OD. Sorry when I say goose it I mean I would like it to boost volume for a solo maybe

My question is should I place the veteran after or before the OD pedal? By the way I'll be turning off the input buffer of the ES5 when using the veteran if someone mentions that

  • As you only have two options why don't you just try both and see which you prefer. There are no hard and fast rules for pedal placement only suggestions. It's what you think sounds best that's important.

Well in terms of just giving a volume boost for a solo I thought there'll be a set way to do this? Trying not to dismantle the board to try out but yes of course I could and probably will do that eventually. Just being lazy I guess

Ok update. I moved them around and personally I preferred the treble booster after the OD. Sounded pretty damn good actually  I've toyed so many times of selling my Veteran (Ge) but it just sounds so great in so many situations. It'll always be hard to let go methinks so I'll just have to fight it
