To be honest a half decent amp played loud will sound better than a brilluant amp played quietly...imho

Of late I have become an amp fiend and own the following

JTM45, Bassman 59, Fender 68 Princeton, Fender Tweed Champ and 2x Laney Lionheart 4x10 combos.

What is funny is that when I play with my band I set all of them so that I sound like me and when we record I sound roughly the same regardless of what I’m playing. 

Its nice to have nice things and I’m glad the Bad cat puts a smile on your face, for most of us this is what this guitar thing is about.
