Drum practice pads. Anyone got any knowledge??

My dad, who has drummed his whole life, hasn’t drummed in a few years but fancies getting back into it, so wants a practice pad to start rebuilding the movement in his wrists now he’s getting on a bit. 

Had a look and there are loads! So just wondering if anyone can recommend one? Or a few I should be looking at?

There’s a multi surface practice pad you can get from Drumeo’s website (not sure if you have to be a paid up member or not) that’s half decent. I’ve an idea that Drum Depot in Cardiff may stock it (pretty sure they do online sales).
