I think for me being fairly local to Ladybower and as someone who often walks in the Peak District, I can’t remember a time when I haven’t had to pick up someone’s litter and the morons wrecking things at Ladybower are the sort who drop litter and burn down tracts of the park because they can’t be arsed to put their disposable bbqs out. Not really offended.... just sick of morons really.

I suppose it’s about desecrating history.... For example, what if it were one of the only factory maple-capped 50s Les Paul Customs in existence and someone permanently altered it in some way?

The internet is essentially a very large megaphone and a proportion of people just feel the need to shout into it about things which would not have merited much attention in times gone by.  Whilst some of those things are worthy of such attention many are not.
