Late 70s Southampton music scene?

Just wondering if anyone needs here was part of the live music scene in Southampton in the 1975-79 era. 

I was teenager back then in my first band called Loaded Dice and later 79ish in a band called Paradox. The Joiners pub in the St Mary's district of the city was famous for its weekly blues-jam nights of which I was a regular. I met a lot of great players back then, both young and old and sometimes wonder if any of the ''survivors' of that period frequent this forum?
