Smaller shops and Independent Dealers List

What's Hot
I've looked extensively on the forum to see if anyone has compiled a list of some of the lesser known shops or dealers that have websites/well maintained FB pages etc....but I couldn't see one.

In trawling the net looking for someone that might carry the guitar of my dreams...whatever that may be, I've realised that some of the dealers or shops known to me never show up on Google, so it got me thinking, how many others may be out there.

From my locality there's
Modern Music - https://modernmusic.myshopify.com/

There's a small dealer near me Ace Guitars. Alex there always has interesting stock and I've bought a few off in the past https://www.facebook.com/AceGuitars/

I always keep any eye on Gas Station Guitars https://www.gasstationguitars.com/

I came across Moon Guitars last night as they had something that might be of interest http://www.moonguitars.co.uk

But I'm none the wiser to many more.

If there's a list already, help in directing me to it would be great, or if you have a local shop or dealer that creeps under the radar, I'd love to know about them.

TIA!

Not sure if they creep under radars or not but these guys are local to me and tend to have higher priced stock and a part exchange section.  They have good reviews, have been in business as long as I can remember (at least 25 years I can be sure but probably longer).  The guitar player I know in a local band rates them and they also do set-up repairs and Amp repairs (not what you asked but if I'm doing a free advert then I might as well mention it all)

Aaaah, memories. Bought my first electric and first proper acoustic there. Was always a Langdons man after that, though. Wish I'd ignored Mr Langdon telling me that I didn't want that "rubbish old Starcaster" and just thrown the £599 at him... Not the end of the world, though, given I got my Squier Venus for a mere £175 from there!

    Really miss that shop.

  • You should add Nottingham City Guitars to the list - some great vintage gear, excellent luthier and set up service and often a welcome cup of coffee

    My trading feedback

is it crazy how saying sentences backwards creates backwards sentences saying how crazy it is?
