Using an Eventide H9 in pre/post mode

Has anyone got a simple explanation on how to use an H9 in pre/post mode?

I use the H9 near the end of my chain atm for reverbs and delays however I have a few of the pitch algorithms where I would like to use it at the front of my chain.

Is this possible?

Using pre post means you can’t run anything stereo but otherwise you’re fine. From memory use in/out 1 for pre connectivity in the signal chain and in/out 2 for post. Then set each patch for pre or post and the H9 will route the signal accordingly
