Specifically the Belair or Nomad??

I have a student that has a Belair 2x12 which is a bit if a brute and I think he is a bit frightened of it. So looking for accepted tips to get the best tones from it without going deaf??

I’ve got one. It’s great for clean. The other channel is OK for an overdriven sound. Finding something in between is more difficult. Otherwise your options are modification (there used to be a simple one on the Carvin forum), turn it up, or use a pedal.
