I find a strong light and a mirror on a stick helps a lot.

Can’t you just retro fit some of those Gibson Robot tuners? There should still be loads on EBay

Can't believe a PRS owner has actually taken it out of it's case!

    They're not designed for it..

You're suppose to have an assistant to do it...

I use the TC PolyTune on a Custom 22, don’f see what the issue is here.

was just a bit surprised at the lack of real estate on a PRS headstock, last time I owned one clip on tuners didn't exist.

  • You need one that can twist on two axes which means it can clip right on the end of the headstock between the D and G tuners. I have one that I use if I have to use a small board with no tuner. I thinks it's an Intellitune PT10.

To be fair it’s not exactly “spacious” on a Tele headstock

  • Careful, a clip on made an imprint on my old Les Paul headstock.

Unlike Gibson, PRS uses sensible finishes so this won't happen.

Not entirely true, the finish on my Mira X marks very easily, it even reacted with the nickel on my new machineheads.

They do the daddario headstock tuner with a machineheads mounting now, it’s much more streamlined

Never had a problem clipping a PolyTune to a PRS SE Custom 24 but on that guitar it does show the B string as G!

It does tune it to B perfectly but for some bizarre reason displays G but only on that guitar, on any other guitar or bass I've used it on the notes display correctly.

Maybe it's to do with there being less space for it to clip to than the other guitars?
