Bl**dy hell! expensive pots!

I'm resurrecting my old Graphtec Ghost system for the headless guitar that I am building. The volume pot for the midi and also the acoustic one have gone a bit flaky, which is annoying. I thought I'd take a look at replacements, and they are £30 and £53 quid respectively!

Hmmmn .... think I'll make do.

Acoustic volume OK up to 9 but then cuts out completely if you get to 10.
Midi volume seems to lose something from the midi sounds past about 7.

What value are they? There’s no sensible reason they should cost that much.

Get one of these and a standard pot, or if the cables aren't too short just use the existing ones.

The cheaper one is actually listed as 250k linear so probably easy enough to replace. The other one doesn't give details of value. It is a bit different in that it is a push pull which gives you two different tones. Quite nice but I can live without that feature.

While I don't necessarily disagree with you, I think they come with little wiring harnesses on them.
