Hand-wired 5e3 clone with Rob Robinette's mods, vintage glass + Celestion Blue £650 PPG
Collection from Durham preferred but will box and courier at buyers expense
Excellent hand-wired 5e3 with the following reversible 'Rob Robinette' modifications.
Unlike regular 5e3's this amp remains clean all the way up the dial, allowing the use of your preferred overdrives + fuzzes. The middle tone control provides mid-scooped tones normally associated with later Blackface-era Fender amps. All mods are 100% reversible if required as the amp tech made use of unused input/output sockets to avoid drilling extra holes in the chassis.
Serviced, reliable, pedal friendly, compact and lightweight. Great grab'n'go gig amp.
Fitted with vintage valves
V1 Mullard 12ax7
V2 GE 12ax7
V3 RCA 6v6
V4 RCA 6v6
V5 RCA 5Y3 rectifier
Cosmetics
The Hand- lacquered Tweed cabinet has had some slight damage repaired next to the input jacks at some point (pictured below) this is purely cosmetic and in no way affects the performance of the amplifier.
Base theme by DesignModo & ported to Powered by Vanilla by Chris Ireland, modified by the "theFB" team.

Had a few PM questions so this extra info may help..
There are only 1x normal (dark) and 1x bright inputs available as the amp stands but the two volume controls still interact. The amp did drive as standard when it was fitted with a low sensitivity Weber 12 but it was way too woofy on the bass for me. I wanted a loud and clean platform with lots of headroom to enable me to use my pedals for drive and so went the Celestion Blue and Rob Robinette's route. It is a loud and clean amp. Thanks for your interest.
