Small Tube Head to Fit on 1x10 Cab?

Hi folks,

My current setup is a Quilter 101 mini head and a 1x10 cab (ragin cajun speaker).

I'm thinking of a valve head for the variety, and something that would fit on a 1x10 cab.

An Orange Tiny Terror would be one solution, if I can locate one used.

Advantages being it's small, 15 watts, so would be loud enough for small gigs.

Any other options?

Other good options could be a pedal like the Quilter Micro Block, or the EHX preamp, but I suppose these wouldn't be valve, so the Quilter would have the SS base covered.

Not aware of the VHTs. Could be great for house use for sure! The Rocker dimensions would let them fit snug on top of the 1x10 cabinet.

I didn’t really rate the Tiny Terror. Very one dimensional amp that isn’t very loud.

It’s actually pretty loud for a 6 watter, I gigged it a few times with some lovely almost-clean-cleans!

I forgot about Mesa Boogie! A VHT special 6 popped up used near me, so considering that. Would be perfect for home use.

There's a lot of good things said elsewhere on theFB about Jet City 20HV or 20H, seems a bargain.  There's also all the Victory lunchbox heads...

I vouch for the Peavey classic 20. Great clean sound/pedal platform, like the quilter but valve.

I know bugger all about the Laney cub 15w head but that's another option for ye. I like my Lionheart 5w head but maybe not loud enough for gigs
