Axe Fx Ultra - Still Great

Been having a play around with the Fractal Axe Fx Ultra I have in the classifieds and I’m pretty amazed at the sounds coming out of it, it sounds absolutely killer. Effects are awesome too.

Dare I say it sounds way better to me than Helix for amp tones IMO, might even prefer some of the tones to my Kemper. Maybe it’s the fact I can dial them in to taste rather than relying on profiles? Don’t know but it’s great.

Seriously considering another Axe 2 or even the 3 now instead of the Kemper.

Even though I've acquired an Axe II and a Kemper over the last few years, I've kept my Ultra and I still take it out to gigs and rehearsals now and again. You're right, it still sounds good and it's easy to dial in once you've got the hang of it.
