Obviously, the 52 Telecaster is the only real Telecaster. Coincidentally, I hear there's a great one for sale in the classifieds.

I never used to like Tele but one day I got a hankering that wouldn't go away.
So I bought a Baja. And it's fabulous! Had it 9 years now and can't see a reason to get rid any time soon. It has plenty of twang but also heaps of bite so I can still get teh metalz from it. I love the transparent blonde finish on it too.
