There are lots that I like, Fairytale Of New York isn't one of them, though I don't hate it.

Top 10, in no particular order:

All I Want For Christmas Is You (Mariah Carey)
    Wombling Merry Christmas (The Wombles)
Land Of Make Believe (Bucks Fizz)
Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) (Darlene Love)
    Christmas Wrapping (The Waitresses)
I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday (Wizzard)
    2000 Miles (Pretenders)
    Merry Xmas Everybody (Slade)
Santa Claus Is Coming To Town (Springsteen)
Hey Santa Claus (Kevin Bloody Wilson)
It'll Be Lonely This Christmas (Mud)

Forgot about Kevin bloody Wilson!  Classic.

Ever since watching box of delights as a kid Noel is one of the christmasiest.

I really like Winter Winds by Mumford and Sons but fucking hate the band.

I guess for me it’s The Pogues - Fairytale of New York.

I can't help about the shape I'm in, I can't sing I ain't pretty and my legs are thin

But don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to

Driving Home for Christmas - Chris Rea
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen - Jethro Tull

But "I'd Like You for Christmas" by Julie London is simply sublime:

    Only one choice for me

I ADORE this tune - such a great Xmas song, and plenty of innuendo for good measure!

I like Greg Lakes - The choir, the trumpets and bells - All help to give it a traditional 'Hark the Herald Angles' type of vibe with the arrangement - Yet it is an anti Christmas song

+ 1 for Mariah Carey - such a catchy song

+1 for Chris Rea - Assume Max Middleton on piano but like the jazzy touches he brings to the song

+1 for Slade - the ultimate Christmas sing along song - especially when you've had a few beers

I like Bryan Adams - Run Run Rudolph and Springsteen's Santa Clause is coming to town

Not heard for years - The Goodies - Father Christmas Do Not Touch Me

Fairytale of New York for me. I love the irreverence. They can feck off with their radio friendly new version though. The lyrics have something of real life about them, but also capture a wonderful Christmas spirit.

Having said that, my Xmas playlist is always a bunch of Pentatonix songs.
