At the risk of de-railing the thread - abstinence is the answer Also gives you more time to do constructive things like making music or Sudoku puzzles.

2. Sell my other amp (Rambler). 
3. Sell the guitars I don't play, probably keep my Trussart Steeldeville. 
4. Get more gigs on sax. 
5. Get more gigs on guitar. 
6. Live the life of Reilly.

Shed a few more guitars/amps.
Buy an acoustic (haven't owned one for years now).
Visit a new country.
Not break any arms/legs etc

My New Year Resolution that I'm going to try really hard to keep is pretty simple; 
To stop living in the past.

Since I've already broken my first resolution I'll just do the usual:

Get older

Get fatter

Continue to suffer from GAS and buy stuff I don't need

Drink too much coffee and real ale

Pretend I'm 25 and not in my 60's

Enjoy life

That'll do .... should be able to do that.
