Mr Smith isn’t a fan, he doesn’t get it. Same with 7 string guitars. So I’d be quite surprised. 

That said, in the same breath as stating the above he also stated that if it’s the only way he could keep making guitars then he’d do it. So not an entirely closed door. 

In many ways I hope you’re right. I’m not particularly a fan of relic’d guitars but nor am I a fan of the don’t-look-at-it-in-case-it-gets-a-swirl-mark, pristine, case queen phenomenon that PRS seem to be synonymous with.

Same. That's why the only PRS guitars I like are things like the S2 Vela. Seems a good mid point for me.

Actually I suspect what PRS will do next is offer an S2 with a shallow carve like the new CE24’s. I imagine something like a Custom 24 shallow carve S2 would be very successful for them if the  price is right.

i also suspect a Silver Sky mass market guitar to be launched.
