Here we have one of my pride and joys...

1989 Custom
Well loved and played, with plenty of road wear and signs of use but no major dings, chips or breaks ( That Relic look that people pay huge amounts for from new )
Absolute beast of a Custom and i will be very sad to see it go, plays like butter.

I bought it a few years ago off an old rocker in a smoky little flat in London, quite a character, cant remember his name but he does amp repairs around the North London area. I walked into his flat and could barely see for cigerette smoke, and there she was, i sat and played her for a while and fell in love, everyone knows how good the 80s Customs are and this one is no different.
Due to it sitting in his smoky flat for years the black has started to yellow slightly hard to see in photos but under certain light it shows, a bit like how the white Customs colour with age.

It has a seymour Duncan Custom 5 in the bridge and original Bill Lawrence in the neck, which has lost its gold colour through the years, ive had a quick look and the screw hole part on the humbucker still has some gold on it, so it has seriously faded!( it was like this when i got it). The Bridge piece was replaced with a direct replacement due to colour fading ( not by me, by the previous owner) i have the original bridge.

The plastic pickup surrounds have a couple of cracks in them, i'm assuming they are original so i left them how they are as it doesn't affect the security of the pickup.

It comes with the original bridge pickup, bridge, posts and some extra knobs
no original case unfortunatley, i got a beaten up gator case with it.

i'm looking at £2500 ono for her and i'm in no rush to sell just having a re-shuffle of gear this year.
