It'll have to wait until after my tea - I'm Hank Marvin...

    You need the FBI ;).

Not really... that's an AC15TB, made in the late 90s to early 2000s by Marshall under the direction of Korg UK who own the Vox brand. I have no idea about 'The Shadows' badge, whether that's a special edition or something someone has added themselves.

This is the best site for information about Vox - http://www.voxshowroom.com

And this page for that specific model - http://www.voxshowroom.com/uk/amp/ac15tbx.html

Is the dark stain on the grille cloth actually there, or a 'shadow' :) in the photo? I can also see some rust on the speaker... if the amp has been wet, I would have it checked over before you power it up, even if it's dried out long since - corrosion in other places could cause trouble.

"Take these three items, some WD-40, a vise grip, and a roll of duct tape. Any man worth his salt can fix almost any problem with this stuff alone." - Walt Kowalski

"Only two things are infinite - the universe, and human stupidity. And I'm not sure about the universe." - Albert Einstein

That's a Hofner Verithin from the 60s made in Germany, value approximately £400.

I have the 2x10" version of that amp and I think they're great. Mine doesn't get anywhere as distorted as the modern equivalents seem to (I prefer mine).
