68 custom deluxe owners - what’s the custom channel like?

I’ve got a 65 modded for reverb on both channels but am finding I never use the bright channel. Wondering about getting the bright cap removed the tone stack tweaked to de-scoop the mid a bit on that channel. I could even jumper and blend them I suppose.

68CDR users, how do you get on with the re-voiced channels?

I loved mine when I had one - both channels were great, although not massively different from each other.  I'd gladly own another and have been on the lookout for one but they hold their value very well.

If you have an ABY switcher then you can also combine both channels for a bit more volume and gain.

My only criticism of the amp is it was a bit noisy.  Not enough to put me off having another, though.
