Replacing 63mm 2 Point Trem

Apologies if this has been asked before after spending an hour trawling Google I still can't find the answer. Does anyone know of a 2 point trem with 63mm post spacing? I bought a partscaster a couple of years ago and I'm finally getting round to making it playable (I hope). The knife edge looks like it's been bashed slightly so I'm concerned about tuning stability if I set it as floating.

In fact while I'm here can anyone identify any of the parts?

The neck looks a decent quality but I'm not sure of it's origin:

The pickups and pots also look OK. I think the pickups 'may' be USA?

The body is routed for HSH and I'm guessing standard Squier build:

Any help or suggestions would be gratefully received :-)

I think you're correct - USA Std pickups (and probably wiring loom), Chinese Squier body. The neck looks like a Mexican Fender from the black plastic insert around the truss rod hole.

Try just cleaning up the knife edges with a fine file, and put a bit of grease on them - chances are they'll work perfectly well.

I'll give that a try and see how it goes, thanks. And the pickups are definitely a pleasant surprise for a £100 purchase!

Fender Tex-Mex single coil pickups also use that plastic bobbin except that the equal length magnet rod sections are positioned to recreate the "stagger" pattern associated with vintage fibreboard bobbin pickups.

The plastic bobbin makes it possible to manipulate the rod magnets with no fear of damaging the copper coil. Thus, it would be possible to convert a Tex-Mex pickup from a RH stagger pattern to flush with the cover or, as I did, to a shallow LH stagger pattern.

I associate the 63mm vibrato bridge pivot post spacing with a low budget Sung-il design, common to the Squier Standard range and lower priced variants of the Cort G series. The baseplate knife edges are not so much bashed as made from cheese. I know of no direct substitute or any easy way to upgrade its weaker features. Fill and redrill may be the only answer.

Looks like a Squier neck too. Some (Indonesian) Squier serial numbers start with IC.
EDIT>check out the stamp on the heel on this 05 rosewood Squier neck.

Yes, and it has the black plastic insert too - I'd forgotten the Indonesian ones did. I thought the stamp didn't look Mexican even when I was typing it!
