Closest modern equivalent to bill Lawrence “the original” Hbl/hbr pickups ??

I really like these pickups but they’re hard to find these days. 
I wondered if there was a modern day equivalent , or if there is anything out there that sounds ike them ?? 
Does anybody know ??!

This. I ordered an L45-S from them a while back, took about three weeks for it to arrive (they make them to order).

A modern replacement for the "the original" circuit board HBL/HBR pickups

Seems to be a bit of a niche item; your best bet might be to scour Fleabay or Reverb for originals.  Out of interest, what did the circuit board do?

It allowed you to desolder/solder at the pickup making changes easier, especially on a semi-solid guitar.

If that’s all it is, perhaps a Seymour Duncan Triple Shot switching ring combined with a conventional 4-conductor pickup would do the trick, and provide some additional switching options for those inclined?
