copying Callaham Strat block/trem arm idea

Was looking at the Callaham site and their "upgrade" to the standard Strat trem/block.
Basically the block is drilled out further with a shorter thread in the block. They then have a delrin (hard plastic type stuff) tube which goes into the block and the trem arm goes through it to screw into the block
The thinking is that the force is applied to the side wall of the hole and not the top of the threaded area of the trem arm. The trem arm is also held by the delrin and so doesn't swing about, so no need for spring in bottom which adds pressure to thread of trem arm. Add a stainless trem arm and that is it.
Anyone tried modding a Fender one?
Where can I get a stainless trem arm?

I'm sure a lot of people will echo this message: contact Kev Hurley (kevinh66@hotmail.co.uk) and tell him what you want. He makes blocks with the same design in a range of materials and sizes and supplies the arms. They're around £35 including the arm and postage. I've bought three from him.
