New Long Ryders LP!

I was amazed to discover that alt country originators The Long Ryders have a new LP out on 15th February. Couple of new tracks on the internet sound pretty good. Prompted me to revisit Two Fisted Tales which sounds better than I remember it being! Details here http://www.thelongryders.com

Great band, they never got the recognition they deserved.
 I saw them in 88 or 89 at Newcastle University, and also ran into Sid Griffin playing with the Coal Porters a few years ago, very weirdly in a small pub in Seahouses, he’s a true gent.
 I wonder if they’ll be touring the new album.
