RMC Picture Wah sweep range

I was on the lookout for some wah pedals and ended up getting a RMC Picture Wah, RMC4 in blue. 
The sound is really good and certainly sounds like a quality wah but I found the pedal sweep range to be quite limited. There is a lot of expression in a very small part of the sweep. I feel like I have hold my foot at the range right before it and really make the most of the limited sweep. It does sound good but I feel I'm using about 20% of the pedal's range and wondered if it can be increased. I feel it would be more expressive if it used the remaining pedal range.

I'm not sure when the pedal was made, but there is a trim pot inside it. This affects the gain and the brightness of the wah effect and i haven't seen any other part that could be used to adjust the range. Any advice?
